Here is the beautiful Colonial spinning fiber. These are commerically dyed. The name Colonial came from the area that the sheep are raised in. They were first introduced in the New England Colonies, hence the name Colonial. You don't need to do anything to these but put your spinning wheel to work. There are many different colors, some multi-colored and some solids. Feel free to combine them to make your own one-of-a-kind sweater, hat, scarf. Great for felting, too.

Purple Haze

This Colonial spinning fiber is called "Purple Haze." It is a beautiful combination of purples, many shades of blues, with pinks intermingled. You can't tell when one starts and ends. This would be perfect for a sweater for that little girl in your life. This comes in 8 ounce packages for $10.50 each.

BLUE GEM

Here is another beautiful Colonial fiber called "Blue Gem." It is so soft and warm. The colors are an array of shades of greens, blues, purples, pinks, and hints of brown all intermingled to make a beautiful and fun fiber to spin. There is nothing to do to this but put your spinning wheel to work. This also felts very well. This comes in increments of 8 ounces for $10.50.

Forest Green

This is a beautiful Colonial called "Forest Green." It is soft and warm. There are many shades of green, starting with dark to light, shades of pink and blues all intermingled to create a lovely fiber. There is nothing to do to this but put your spinning wheel to work. This is great for hats, scarves and sweaters. This comes in increments of 8 ounces for $10.50.
